Artist & Illustrator

  • MSc Project Management for creative practitioners – Kingston University, London
  • MA Visual Communication Design, Illustration – Kingston University, London
  • BA Fine Arts, Painting – Albertina Academy of Fine Arts, Turin

I’m an Artist & Illustrator based in London specialised in drawing with a particular focus on landscapes that incorporate observational and imaginary elements inspired by nature. The theme around my work is often connected to the emotional response of everyday places and travels, using memory as the main source to translate our experiences into images and visual storytelling.

I also create illustrations using traditional techniques combined with digital tools inspired by the gothic genre and children’s literature.

For the past four years I have worked as a learning assistant at The National Gallery and collaborated with different organisations where I helped in delivering and leading art workshops in different settings.

As an art practitioner I strengthened my skills through constant learning with institutions such as the Royal Drawing School and the House of Illustration that led to private commissions, exhibitions and art assistant roles. My love for learning and education brought me to achieve an MA in Visual Communication: Illustration where I expanded my knowledge in visual narrative. During my Master ‘degree I investigated the functionality of art as a therapy. This led me to volunteer at Maggie’s West London, a centre that gives emotional support for people affected by cancer, where I had the opportunity to design and deliver workshops for adults and young people with the aim to increase the patient’s wellbeing using different techniques such as collage, drawing and papercut. My strong interest in developing art projects for communities brought me to achieve a Level 2 Community Art Workshops at Rosetta Art Centre to understand more art community settings.
